Anyone else experience this??

So i’m 9 weeks and 2 days today! I had a doctor appointment today to see if we could hear the heartbeat and my doctor wasn’t able to find it. She explained that it’s like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. This is my first child and i’m wondering if anybody else had this happen to them? I’m not necessarily concerned just a little bummed out!!

My doctor couldn’t find the heartbeat with a Doppler at 9 weeks 5 days either but she said not to worry because the baby is so tiny it’s hard to pinpoint the exact spot! As long as you don’t have any other concerning symptoms I wouldn’t worry. 😊

I had my first appt last Thursday and they couldn’t do the heart beat with the Doppler, baby had 166 bpm, but was moving around too much to actually hear it! Maybe you just have a little dancer too!

I just recently had an appointment at 9w2d and the Dr said she could try to find the heartbeat but said it would be hard to get at this stage so she suggested we not try yet cause she was worried I would be stressed about it if she couldn't find it. She wasn't at all concerned so I took her advice and decided not to try just yet.

Did she say anything else? Could you see baby?/see the beating of the heart?
