I’ve gone through all four options... which is why I’m commenting. He’s never loaned money, but he’s a very helpful guy. 
My husband’s friendliness/charm is irritating mostly when I feel neglected (which can be influenced by my cycles/life), and of all the times we’ve talked about this, coming at him calmly, and making “I statements” to show vulnerability, is definitely the best route.
