Sex everyday and no BFP?

Hi! So me and my SO have sex pretty much everyday. We might miss a day or 2 in a week but mostly it's everyday. We aren't necessarily trying to get pregnant but we also aren't doing anything to protect it from happening. Ever since I've been off Bc (about 11 months) my periods have been about 40 days, consistently, so I don't know if that's my new normal or what. So I've been having unprotected sex for about 6 months now and I haven't gotten pregnant, which worries me. Do you think there's an underlying issue such as PCOS or other infertility issues. Has anybody else been in the same boat and concieved? Thank you guys!

We have been trying for 5 months as well. It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive.

PCOS could be an issue. I have super irregular periods and my gyno told me that if I'm not pregnant after 6 months of trying that we would check into PCOS. If you are pretty consistent at 40 days I wouldn't think you would have it though. I never know when my period is coming. I'm 54 days from the first day of my last period and have taken to pregnancy tests with negative outcomes. I know your not trying but when you are absolutely sure you are ready I would maybe talk to your gyno and I would assume they would at least test for the possibly of PCOS. Everyone is different maybe you just need a few more months ;) good luck!

You might actually be having to much sex. They say it's best to do it every other day. But I doubt that's the only factor to your problem. Talk to your dr.

My doctor said every other day is best when TTC because the sperm needs time to build back. Even then it can take normal healthy couples up to a year to conceive. Maybe stat actively trying by tracking ovulation with opks. Good luck!

The first month was like that for me I stopped taking birth control may 4th. I'm now 5 weeks and 3 days along. Don't let your stress levels get you flustered about it. :) hope you get your positive soon
