Sex after FET?

Hi ladies! Having my first FET on Thursday.. for those of you who have been through it, what's been the recommendation on sex post transfer? I've heard anything from 4-5 days after to waiting through the whole first trimester.. ?!

My IVF doc told us to wait 8-12 weeks. It worked for me!

My clinic said pelvic rest until fetal heart rate is detected around 3-4 weeks after transfer.  So unless you test negative no sex for a while.  We followed this and had a successful transfer so I believe in it.  Though I’m sure others might have success with different instructions.

I just had my FET and my recommendations were no sex until BETA (12 days).

I would definitely listen to your doctor but it’s the uterine contractions you want to avoid. They can push the embryo up into the tubes, which isn’t good.
