Hey girls, I guess I’ve just been in my head lately and need to get this off my chest somehow.

I’ve been with my boyfriend now for about a year and I’m so in love with him. He loves me too, he’s just not as vocal about it as some of my past boyfriends.

I’m not trying to compare them of course, but I can’t help it sometimes. Anyways, he doesn’t think we need to say “i love you” all the time because we should know that we feel it for each other. Which I understand where he is coming from, it’s just, a girl likes to hear it ya know?

Anyways, we’re in our 20’s and go to college together. However, he’s back home for the summer which is an hour away. Not a problem, we still see each other a lot. But he SUCKS at texting/talking on the phone.

I just feel great when I’m with him, but I feel like his entire focus is always on anything but me. He goes hours and hours a day forgetting to reply to me ALL THE TIME. I don’t know, I just like to hear from him but we don’t talk unless its him saying “oh i forgot to reply” over and over.

I’ve tried to talk to him about it and he always apologizes but I swear it’s always the same thing. I love him a lot, I just don’t want to ever have to feel like I’m settling, you know? I guess this was just something I needed to say so any advice would be amazing !!!
