Has anyone else ever had a delayed allergic reaction to a bee sting? I say bee because I didn't see what stung me, but I have been bitten by a wasp before with no reaction. But never in my life been stung by a bee!

My whole leg had shooting pain, and my hip hurt, my tongue and lips were tingly and slightly numb and difficulty swallowing but no problems breathing. I had chills, was shivering so bad and nausea. This took almost 20 minutes to start though. Not typical allergic reaction and not anaphylaxis. I went to urgent Care and the doc was stumped but I felt better after shots of Benadryl and steroids. Ugh damn nature.
