How long do you wait?

If your not taking anything for PCOS.... How long do you wait after you AF is late? I'm 13 days late. Last time I thought I was I wasn't. I'm just wondering what you ladies do and how long you wait to know for sure.

Your doctor can prescribe progesterone to make your period start.  I did the 21 day test and found out I didn't ovulate.  Well, because I didn't ovulate and my progesterone never rose, it couldn't drop to make my period start.  I took progesterone for 9 days, and that started my period.  The next cycle I had was 31 days with no medicine.  Now I'm on CD14 of my first cycle on Clomid.  If you test and you aren't pregnant, call your doctor so they can get your period to start and you can try again next month!  Good luck!! :)

I have PCOS and I know the feeling.  I know I just began ovulating the 17th.  Based on this, I should have my period around the 1st or 2nd.  I plan to wait until I am three weeks late before testing.
