hello, this is probably a stupid question but I'm getting worried.

I am not pregnant, just to specify. I'm a virgin.

so I'm getting more regular in taking my bc pill (I take it to treat a medical condition) and my period has come like it's supposed to but it's strange. I'm getting some pretty frequent clotting and they're decently sized, too. I go to the bathroom to change a pad every four hours because I normally have a heavy flow (even though it's less heavy than it was before I started bc), and there's been no more blood than you'd see for spotting and the clots are usually brown like old period blood. like I said, they're decently sized as well. is this something that I should be worried about?

edit: I haven't missed a single pill in this month's pack, I'm on the last row.
