mucus help

so the last two days in been getting very thick egg white like mucus with brown and pink blood in it (looks like mucus plug when your pregnant) according to the app I'm sure to ovulate tomorrow. if never had ovulation spotting. what could this be. I never spot either expect couple days after my period but that was 2 weeks ago which I had a bit of spotting which lasted about 3 days after my period stopped
