Is it normal to still feel the tampon a little?

I rarely ever use tampons because I can always feel it and it’s pretty uncomfortable. I use an applicator and I’m pretty sure I can’t get it any further, so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Is it okay to feel it? This may seem like a stupid question, but could it fall out if I can feel it?

I had this problem when I first started because I was putting it in too far, once your fingers are on the grip and meet your vagina that is as far as the applicator needs to go. I would try to put it in as far as I could thinking that was how I was going to not feel it but it was the opposite. Unless you feel it sticking out which in that case you might be pulling the tampon out a little when your pushing the tampon out the applicator.

You shouldn't feel anything at all. It's not up high enough if you feel something.

Sometimes they can slip out over a period of time. I can’t feel it at all when I use them, you may need to kinda push things out of the way to get it up there all the way..
