Working at Walmart?

Question

Have any of you worked at Walmart before? How was it? I got hired as a cashier. 
It’s only my second job. I just needed something with some kind of health insurance because the previous company I worked for didn’t offer any. I’m also 19 and a full time college student. Today is orientation!! So nervous.
Also, during orientation I know we will have an assessment test. Can you fail this test and not be able to work there? What if I fail? Sorry guys, kind of freaking out 😂

cashier is a good start. if u show interest,  go above and beyond and exceed expectations,  rather than just meeting them, you will be promoted in customer service,  in no time. and that's a step closer to Supervisor and then managment.
yes, it is doable. yes, takes dedication,  hard work, often u might even need to be extra sweet, but if you want to, within 3 years, you can be a manager at Walmart,  not just a cashier. 
they will train u, mold you and even match you on paying for a degree in business management.
at least, I know Florida locations often do that.

it's pretty good. they are flexible with hours. there's always hours. I mean yeah. It's not amazing by any means but it's a stable job
