Inside Out movie loved it? Hated it?

I have a Bachelors degree in child development and family sociology.. I have to say i love love loved this movie! I felt for children and teens it was a great metaphor for helping them realize their emotions. I felt that it could help them communicate their needs and feelings and that it is okay to be sad. I have a sister that despised it though and thought it was detrimental because it didnt put enough emphasis on the parental role in Rileys life... I dont think the movie was about the family dynamic so i kind of disagree with her... Anyone have an opinion of this movie??
