anyone else not dialting yet?

36 weeks & 6 days. went to my check up today. babys heartbeat was good. checked to see if i was dialted & my cervix is still closed.. anyone in this situation with me? I'm so sad, she said I could possibly go over my due date

I wasn’t dilated at my 36w appointment, guess we’ll find out tomorrow if anything has changed.
I was having contractions yesterday, but they seem to have tapered off.

I know it’s frustrating to hear those numbers but dilation is no indicator of when labor is going to happen. Chin up!

🙋🏼‍♀️38+3 and I’m at 1cm and she’s super high up. She’s my second, so being at a one means nothing as I could naturally sit like that. I already expected not to dilate though, so it’s not as much of a shock. I have a very narrow pelvis, and am very very unlikely to deliver vaginally. I’m scheduled for a repeat c-section on the 30th. Hang in there though! You could progress at any time, and it could go super fast! You’re still pretty early!

Don’t worry about it. I was checked last week at my 38 week appt and completely closed. My dr said some women dilate gradually, others all at once. My friend was due July 10th, had her 38 week appt June 26th and was completely closed, ended up having her baby June 28th.

I was 1 cm dilated at my 37 week check up, but that doesn't really mean much. I could stay at 1 cm for weeks and still go over my due date.

I’m almost 38 weeks and I’m not dilated, cervix is hard and high. I have to increase my activity level.
