Breastfeeding while pregnant

Any moms get pregnant while breastfeeding still? I currently have a 17 month old daughter who still breastfeeds and i am currently 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. A nurse told me I’m going to have to stop breastfeeding by the second trimester. Is that normal?
