I’m going on the depo and will I still get pregnant? Could someone fill me in with info?

Been on it for a year, gained 8lbs which didn’t harm me.

I’m not 100% sure this is correct but I’ve seen a lot of comments of women saying they got pregnant on the depo shot and that it can cause longterm issues so maybe talk to your doc more about it?
