I had my 40 week appointment today (due date was yesterday) and I am only 1 centimeter dilated 😔 The doctor is having me come back next week for an ultrasound and an NST test if I haven’t gone into labor yet to check baby’s fluids and make sure all looks good. If all is well, I will only be induced if I get to 42 weeks and haven’t gone into labor on my own. I am really, really hoping that I go into labor naturally and soon. I don’t want to be induced and I don’t want to wait 2 more weeks before meeting my little boy. I’m trying so hard to be patient but it’s so hard! Any suggestions on what helped any of you ladies?
