Maternity photos as Christmas card

Anyone else thinking of doing this? I’m simultaneously terrified of miscarriage and wanting to plan for 5 months down the road. My husband and I do a Christmas letter every year, this year I’m thinking we can do a postcard and we can print our message up on the back. It’d be our first official family photo.

I live near a mountain that has skiing on it. It’s not open for skiing until December usually (snow has been less and less every year) but there’s plenty of snow for pictures in November, it’s covered and not snow packed enough for snow sports... which is great so we won’t be in anyone’s way and can have full range of the mountain.
