What to pack on a 11 hour road trip to a 7 day beach vacation for 15 month old?

We will also have our 4 year old with us. Going in 2 weeks and wanting to double check my packing list.
It will be 11 hours to get there, 7 days there visiting and going to the beach and other activities and then 11 hours back.

I suggest books. My baby loves books in the car. And if you can get some of their favorite music, that usually makes my baby happy (and quiet).
We just did a drive about that long, but we had a convenient spot to stop and stay with a friend. So we did it over two days. We had to stop after about 2-4 hours, so plan some extra time.

We just went on a 6 hour trip. Biggest thing for us was to plan around his nap time and feedings. My parents actually took him out and drove half way each day but on the way home we went the whole way and so we waited to leave until lunch time. I fed him lunch we left he fell asleep immediately. Slept for an hour and a half. He was good then for another hour and half and then he started getting a little fussy. I got in the back and fed him some snacks and played with him a little. Shortly after we stopped for dinner. He ate and then we got back in the car and he fell asleep within 20 minutes. Biggest thing is have your LOs favorite toys and snacks. I’d suggest an iPad of sorts but not all kids are even into that. My son doesn’t get distracted with tv. Even when we try to use it to get something done he will watch it for a minute and be over it. You could try that though if your LO likes watching things. Just make sure while your there you have plenty of diapers, EXTRA clothing, hat and sunscreen for the beach/outdoors. We packed some easy foods too Incase we didn’t get to eat when he was hungry.

If you have an ipad you can download videos onto - this was a life saver for us on a recent 7 hour trip. We got one of those ipad holders that wraps around the seat headrest so our rear facing 14 month old could watch Little Baby Bum occasionally during the trip. It was great! And obviously lots of snacks and some small new toys.
