The Pill and Depression...?

I have my gyno appointment on Monday, and I'm trying to get all of my questions on paper before going in. Has anyone with depression been affected by their birth control pills? I have not started taking the pill yet, but will likely be put on it. I just wanted to know if it's ever caused serious issues with their depression or even anxiety. Trying to minimalize the possibility of this shit getting worse...

In the first month or two being on the pillI did get a little worse, but that could've been from getting stressed over school. It made it a little harder to snap out of my dissociative state. But once my body adjusted to the hormones it got better

i would say its increased my anxiety. there are other birth control options than the pill
