It’s just luck basically. Either you ovulate from both ovaries, two  follicles from one, or the embryo splits. Or they put more embryos in during IVF. Nothing you eat or take can up your chances of having twins

Had a chemical, then next month started taking progesterone right after ovulation (I thought I was ovulating). After taking it for about a week, temps went down, so I stopped Progesterone pills. Ovulated shortly after that and had 2 eggs released.
