Baby sleeping more ?

The last few days I've noticed much longer gaps of little to no movement. Sometimes over two hours, but then there will be a flurry of movement. I went to doc on Friday to check and she was fine. It's very annoying to have to worry every few hours Cuz I'm not sure if that's just her being quiet or something is wrong. Has anyone else had this ?

Last night I realized I hadn't felt my baby move in about an hour so I started poking my stomach until I finally got a kick back as if to say "leave me alone, mom!" I'm pretty sure she was just sleeping. I've been told not to wait too long if you don't feel them to come in and get checked. As another poster said, trust your instincts and get checked if you are worried. That's their job.

When I notice a gap in movements, I'll figure out where her butt is and give her a nudge. Usually, she'll respond back by little movements.

Every baby has a pattern. Mine does and I have it figured out. They also have growth spurts and they typically sleep a little more then. However, if you feel something is off better safe than sorry. Next time, drink some ice cold water, lay on your left side, or drink or something sugary, or even try some caffiene. You can also move your belly around to see if you can get baby to move any before panicking.

Yes I'm 30 weeks and have been noticing the change the last week or so! I was getting worried too until I read about the sleeping patterns.

How far along are u.. Remember the bigger the baby gets the less movement.. The baby doesn't have much space to work with once ur further along... lol I get the same way..  He will stay still for a whole day no movement at all had a friend of mind do a sono cuz I work In a hospital and he was ok.. Next day it was movement all day and night lol
