Short term disability?

Question

Anyone know anything about STD? I was denied a reduced work schedule while pregnant and they denied it but today they finally approved it. But I lost out on 2 months of pay while on that schedule. Does anyone know if they will have to back pay me that money? I have the hardest time getting a hold of them otherwise I would ask them. Thanks!

I just had to watch a discrimination video at work and pregnancy is covered under the equip opportunities employment ( at least in the video I had to watch, I work for the post office). I would imagine they would have to pay you that money but I’m not sure how you would go about it. Probably Human Resources ? Good luck! 🍀

i dont know but if you needed to get disability, im pretty sure you shouldve requested it at the time you needed it. i dont know if it works in hindsight. you can probably try filing a workers comp claim if you cant get the money
