ParaGard IUD

I'm a teenager and having sex regularly with my boyfriend of a year and four months. I've tried multiple different birth control pills but the hormones just make me crazy. We use condoms but I just want to make sure I don't get pregnant. I've had an appointment before to get the ParaGard inserted but I literally had to cancel it because I was so scared. Tomorrow I have another appointment to get it but I am so nervous about it. I'm trying to stay calm but I've been researching and even women that have had children say it's super painful. I'm getting it done through planned parenthood. I guess my question is do you think they will give me anything to help with the pain. I know they say to take ibuprofen an hour before but I'm scared it'll still be to painful. I haven't slept since Wednesday night because this is giving me so much anxiety!! Help!!!!!
