Rude to a server or anyone in the service/hospitality industry

-Repeatedly bringing up ex 
-Lack of motivation when talking about their life (i.e. they have excuses for why they live with parents, don’t have a car, can’t hold down a job, etc)
-High ego. Acting like you’re lucky that you get to spend time with them rather than being happy to be in your presence 
-Not complimentary towards you whatsoever 
-Paying more attention to their phone than you
-Not laughing with you or engaging in anything you say 
-Bringing up sex and when they get to have it with you 
I could go on but those are probably my main ones. I’ve dated a ton of douchebags 😂

- any sexist, racist, homophobic shit
- any judgey comments on your outfit/job/friends etc

I was ‘seeing’ this one guy many years ago and we went to sonic and his dad was with us. He ordered like popcorn chicken or something and wanted ketchup or a sauce to go with it. When his dad passed over the bag he checked before driving off and said they forgot the sauce. His dad asked if he should pull around and get the sauce and the guy said no just go. And the whole energy in the car changed to very tense energy and he started actually pouting! I was like wtf....it’s just sauce and you had a chance to get it fixed. 
Halfway back to the house he started yelling and cussing at his dad about the situation and his dad was responding in such a weird way, like talking to him like he was a toddler?! I’m like whaaaaat...??? We get back to the house and out of the car and the guys is still pouting but when he turns to me he’s acting like everything is fine. When we get in the house he starts laying into his dad again about it and as soon as the door opened I was up the stairs grabbing my bag and back down and in my car driving off within three minutes of the front door opening. 
Prior to this encounter I just had gotten out of a very long and very emotional and mental abusive relationship. So I saw that red flag and I was out. Not today.
