Cycle on clomid

I've finished my second round of clomid.

The first round shortened my cycle by about 5 days, which was what the doctor was aiming for when px'Ed.

If I assume af would be due the same time, that's in about 4 days. Took a FRER yesterday and today, both negative. But I've heard (couldn't tell you from who), that it's still too early to test. I've had two miscarriages since last July, and for the life of me I can't remember when I tested. Any experience? Positive feedback/stories?
