Is Skyler/Skye mostly a girls name or boys name?

My husband likes the name Skyler for a boy.. but so many people say it’s a girls name. I don’t want to name a feminine name for a baby boy

I went to school with two male Skylars, one of them actually went by Sky. I have never personally met a female Skylar.  It is more popular on girls, yes, but it used to be a masculine name,  kind of like Emerson,  Avery, Quinn,  etc.

I see it as a unisex name along with Sky-Boy and Skye/Skie- Girl

Skyler is unisex. I think it sounds better on a boy, personally. Certainly doesn't sound too feminine.
Skye looks very much like a girl name only, in my opinion. Although I think Sky works well for a boy as a nickname or as a middle name. Just not Skye.

I clicked before I read it. The nickname Skye is what makes it seem girly to me. But I think Skylar is a good unisex name. I babysat a boy skylar.
