Ending our relationship

Soo.... my boyfriend went to jail isn’t working... so he has to pay bail and on top of that 5 speeding tickets. He wanted me to give him 80$ a week for his tickets than 100$ a month for bail. Because we have a child together he expected me to pay it. I told him no... than changed my mind and told him only way I will pay it is if he signs a paper saying that if I lend him money to pay that , that he’ll pay me back. So instead he broke up with me. He thinks he shouldn’t have to pay me back . But why should I do that if he never treats me good and when I said no broke up with me and called me out my name. I’m so fucking tired of it should I just say ok or this is something to just end the relationship of 5 years
