Round ligament pain?

Hi everyone. I am 18 weeks 2 days and am starting to feel dull stabbing pains in my lower right abdominal/pelvis area. They occasionally happen on the other side as well although very inconsistently. I am assuming maybe these are 'round ligament pains,' but as this is my first pregnancy this is all new to me. I'm just curious if anyone else is feeling the same thing or has been pregnant before and has some insight. They aren't super painful but pretty consistent and I just want to make sure it couldn't be something else. I also just started to 'pop' the past couple days, although I'm still not really showing to people who don't know me. Thanks!
