Pregnant with breast implants?

I know I am opening myself up to judgment- a lot of people have opinions on plastic surgery, but I’d love to hear from any other ladies out there who currently have implants and are pregnant. Will you try to breastfeed? If so, will you get your milk tested to check silicone levels? I am so nervous!

God. I wish I could get a Boob job lol. 😂 Anywho, I watch a YouTuber who had a boob job and she discusses breastfeeding and her implants. Her name is Hailey Paige. I would maybe type in the search bar "Hailey Paige breastfeeding with breast implants." The sun is though I think she had issues with 1 of her breasts but she isn't sure if it was just her or the implants that caused the problem. She does say she doesn't recommend getting boob jobs until after children. I think she just found them a pain. But not to big of a pain. She is still breastfeeding at 18 months lol. I would ask your doctor about what's in your milk. I wouldn't be to worried though because like...Everything you touch and eat goes into your milk. I watched another video on women's breastmilk being tested and found things like the chemicals in furniture that stop them from beinv flammable. So...There are toxins everywhere.

I’m pregnant with silicone implants, and this will not stop me from breastfeeding my baby. Every Dr I spoke to said that having implants should not interfere with breastfeeding

Having implants and breastfeeding is totally okay.. My cousin gave birth around a month and everything is going normal for her so do not worry.

I’m pregnant and have implants! Mine are filled with saline. 
Yes- I’m going to breastfeed. My maternal-fetal specialist has not mentioned anything about testing my levels for silicone, but I will ask!
I’ve had several friends have babies and breastfeed with success with their implants! ❤️

I work in plastic surgery...technically with silicone implants you are suppose to get an MRI at 2 years post op then every 3 years to check for leak/rupture. Do most people do it? No. 
Most of the implants now a days are so advanced that the silicone is like a “gummy bear” texture so the silicone traveling elsewhere is “unlikely.” I know of several patients who breastfed with “older and newer” style implants and had no problems. And actually saline breasts implants have a “silicone” shell. 
If you are worried about the ability to breastfeed, I have had 3 breast implant surgeries, all cut on the lower part of my nipple and I breastfed fine. 🙌🏻 My friend on the other hand, had no breast surgeries and was unable to breastfeed. 
If you are really concerned, ask your doctor to write an order for an MRI to check your breast implants...just keep in mind that unfortunately insurance might not pay for it 😬

My cousin had implants and breastfed no problem for a year and pumped :) if your worried get your levels checked but it should be fine!!

Huh? I never thought to ask bc I don’t believe the milk even touches the implant. I’ve breast feed 2 with saline implant . (I’m not an expert) I believe the milk travels directly through the milk duct (tubes) to the nipple . I don’t believe it touches the implant. I’m going to ask my lactation specialist bc now I’m curious 🤔. Good question though
