CVS Test?

Question

Is anyone having this done? My doctor asked if I want one and I’m 10 weeks today. The test is performed between 10-13 weeks, so I guess I need to decide. Advice?

I was offered the same test but I declined it. For me personally, if my baby does have any defects I plan on keeping my baby either way so I'd rather not worry about it or stress about it. Also I heard of a story that my mom told me that a lady went in for this test they told her that her baby was going to have some type of abnormality, she had an abortion and turned out that the baby was fine. So I think it's kind of pointless and I don't think it's necessary unless you plan on aborting  or putting up for adoption. if u plan on keeping no matter what then I don't see a need in testing

This test comes with a slight risk of miscarriage. Were you given a reason to have it done? Most don’t unless some other screening indicates an abnormality. If I had something to suggest it, I might.
