Does the semen get to where it needs to go even if you don't orgasm until AFTER he cums??

Asking because I read that orgasms are actually good to help getting pregnant because the muscles pushes/opens up so the semen gets where it needs to go. Sometimes I go in the middle of sex, sometimes I go when he goes, but sometimes I don't go until a few minutes after he cums because it takes longer for me. When I go after him, semen usually seeps out of me... So I'm wondering does the orgasm after he already cums inside me help at all?! Or am I just pushing it all out? Thank you!!

The sperm gets to its destination in a matter of milliseconds. You don't need to have an orgasm to get pregnant otherwise I wouldn't be 34 weeks pregnant myself.

I forget how long it takes, exactly, but semen liquifies after a couple/few minutes and therefore oozes out. The sperm, however, shoots to the cervix immediately after male ejaculation and is there within seconds. A female orgasm *can* help pull sperm to the side from which you are ovulating at that time, so I would venture to say that same time or shortly after ejaculation would be best. BUT female orgasm isn't necessary at all to conceive :)
