induction nerves!!

Okay, so I just got out of my doctors appointment a few hours ago and here's my story: I'm currently 40+1, but measuring at least 3 or 4 weeks behind. My doctor scheduled induction tonight at 5pm and they are expecting me to labor for basically forever (haha). My midwife checked my cervix today and said it was super high and barely dilated at all so that's why they said my labor could last a while (She said she'd expect me to probably deliver the baby Friday night or Saturday morning and it is currently Wednesday at 2pm bleh). So my question is, has anyone been in this situation? What did you do to pass the time at the hospital? What can i expect in terms of pain (I'd love to try for an all natural birth if possible)? I just need reassurance!! So nervous, but excited too!!
