When to start telling people!?!?

Hey all!
When do you start to tell your family and immediate friends ? 
My husband and I are going for our first ultrasound on 8/17 and I found out I was pregnant on 7/16. I missed my period and decided to test. I am about 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant! I have no clue when to start telling people?!

There's no right or wrong for this. Whatever you feel is right for you & your partner.

We told immediate family and close friends at 5 weeks

you will find many people tell before 12 weeks and you will also find that many people on here have experienced miscarriage and will most most likely but not all will wait till 12 weeks to publicly announce. that being said even though I miscarried I still told a few close family members and my close friends as soon as I had my bfp. I figured if I miscarried again it's still won the emotional support from those closest to me.

I told close friends and family as soon as we found out at 5 weeks going to announce to everyone next week after my 12 week scan :) but everyone is different it totally up to you xx

My only advice is when you tell, tell everyone at the same time. I told my parents early in pregnancy and wanted to tell everyone else after 12 weeks. My parents ended up spilling to quit a few people and I trusted them more than anyone. I was really shocked.

Going to tell family after our first ultrasound. Plan on telling close family & friends at 8 weeks and everyone else at 12 weeks. Although I want to yell it from the rooftops!
