Crib vs Bassinet (for newborn) HELP! 😕

I'd like to have my newborn in the room with me for the first few months since I plan on breastfeeding. My bedroom has plenty of extra space for either crib or bassinet (this is my first child so I don't know what's the best option), eventually she will be moved into her nursery. Safety & comfort for baby is my main concern. 👶💗
