almost 3 months late but I'm gonna tell it anyway. it all started at 4am I was having what I thought was false labor. I was having slight contractions. I only had 2 contractions from 4am-6am, then they just completely stopped. so I go about my day like usual. around noon I started having contractions again this time they stayed as time went on they started getting more intense but iiregular so I sat in the tub for an hour while my husband was entertaining my son. when I got out of the tub I didn't even have a chance to get dressed before another contraction started so I was bent over the bed naked in pain while my husband and 1 year old son were blasting nursery rhymes dancing around in the same room acting wild lol. my husband suggested I go to the hospital because the day before I missed my obgyn appointment. this whole time I thought it was all false labor because I was expecting it to feel like the 10hr back labor I had with my son. I agreeded we go just to get things checked out. But I didn't want to go just yet I kept thinking it was false labor for some reason so before we could leave we had to wait for my husbands grandmother to come over and watch our son. on our way to the hospital i got so hungry so we stopped at Wendy's drive through and while we were at the pick up window I started having a contraction lmao... anyway I guess you guys know the employees reaction considering he didn't know what the he'll was going on. After I got my sandwich I still didn't want to go to the hospital I kept thinking it will pass so we went to out local park and I was walking around it for an hour contraction after contraction this time they started to get regular and people were starting. So we eventually went to the hospital. Once I was all signed in they checked to see how far I was dilated and 2 seconds with a hand up my vag the doctor said 10cm we have to admit her. I was in complete disbelief the whole time I was in labor I was laughing and just ignoring the pain the best I can and the nurse was in complete shock that I was laughing and joking around. I even heard the other nurses in the hallway saying what she's 10cm !!!! Lol anyway I get into the delivery room and my husband started smelling something so he looks on the bottom of his shoe and sees he stepped in dog crap. Then the doctor comes in and says ok we are gonna break your water now all while my husband is in the bathroom scraping dog crap off his shoe lmao. So after they break my water I start delivering about 15 minutes later. My husband was holding one leg while the nurse was holding the other. My daughter was born within 20 minutes of pushing. I was in the hospital under an hour before I gave birth. Reilly Adeline was born may 5th 2018 at 5:55pm 8lbs 6oz 2 weeks early. :)
