I am 6 days post csection. And today was awful! I had been doing so good with this recovery. Getting up and moving. Taking Tylenol and Advil when needed. Well today I was laying here nursing my babe, I went to move her and noticed a lot of wet, somewhat bloody, really smelly stuff on my dress. My husband lifted my dress and my underwear were SOAKED from my incision oozing out puss!!! I freaked out.

We got in the car and headed to the ER. When we got there, we met with a doctor who looked at my incision and said it’s healing AMAZING but there was a pocket on the right side that he needed to drain. So I said sure. He proceeded to cut open a small section on my incision and drain the liquid stuff, sent me home and said that was that, that it should heal in a couple days and not to worry.

My question is, have any of you csection mamas had this happen? I’m just really worried now about doing anything in fear of this happening again....
