Yeast infection while on period

Can I still treat a yeast infection with natural home remedies while on my period. I’ve tried monistat and it was the worse decision I’ve ever made. I recently been using garlic for 1 day and surprisingly it made a drastic difference and it really was helping but I got my period today and was wondering if I could still do the garlic remedy.? Please don’t be rude. I’m just curious because I really want this yeast infection gone and the garlic seemed to be helping tremendously just after one day
