Pram and car seat set up?

Hi guys! I’ll be 37 weeks on Sunday and just wondering when everyone is building their prams and setting up the car seat in their car?
I’ve heard it’s bad luck to have the pram in the house but I’m sure it’s just an old wives tale x

I put the stroller together around week 36. It’s sitting in our garage now. I installed the car seat at 37 weeks.

I live in a condo, I have no choice but to have the stroller in the house 😅.
I put it together about 35 weeks. 
During out CPR class two weeks ago a police officer came to speak about car seat safety. They said 90% of people install their car seats incorrectly. So now our local CHP station offers to install them for free, you just have to call and make an appointment. So my husband and I plan to go next week.
They still taught everyone how to install them, but my husband said if they offer why not have them do it and then there’s no question if it’s correct or not.
I recommend others to make a phone call and see if their local police station or highway patrol or even fire house will do it. If it’s free, there’s really no reason not to.

I’m gonna put my car seat in the car when I go to the hospital. Might install it during labor if I can or wait until after baby is born. I’m a car seat safety freak so I know I can just pop it in real quick 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d rather not have it sitting in my car unused for weeks, just because of how awful it would be to get into a fender bender and have to throw the $300 thing away!

I had bought my carseat with stroller a while back an built it I wanna say when I was 20 something weeks because I decided to jus put it up an put it in the room of my son which baby is sharing. Hope is not bad luck. what do they mean by bad luck?

Well both of mine is all built up and good to go! I heard it was before 20 weeks not to put up the cot. Meh.... you do what you want, I wouldn't pay attention to it.
