and found out yesterday through bloodwork that I am in fact having another girl. I expected the reactions of my step kids but my daughter (2 1/2) was not pleased at all. Keep in mind she has been saying she wants a baby sister up until a few weeks ago when her brother told her why? You want a baby brother don't you?! Well anyways she literally started crying so hard saying she didn't want a baby sister. She didn't even want a baby anymore. Being depressed(have severe mental illness and chose to be unmedicated for pregnancy) I just lost it in the bathroom. Broke down crying and got really bummed on this pregnancy. Today I am feeling better and I showed my daughter pictures of girl babies and said these are baby sisters. She got super excited. Hope it sticks. Sooo glad I chose to not have a gender reveal party lol.
