How do you feel about it? 
Sometimes I watch it because I like to see the bad guys get put away and it gives me perspective that there are a lot worse things that could have happened to me. But it also gives me flashbacks or nightmares if it specifically reminds me of my abusive ex.

Most of the time I enjoy watching it. It rarely gives me flashbacks but does on a few occasions. But the help/support/understanding showed on the show help me I think. Also seeing the bad guys put away usually provides relief

I used to love that show. now when I watch it I realize how unrealistic it is. those detectives are so respectful and kind to every victim and find who had done it to them. the detective that was on my case was accusing me of lying and shaming me for underage drinking. they let the guy go. I wish the show was like real life.

I get this kind of guilty pleasure from it. Like seeing how bad things are makes me feel vindicated for still being fucked up so many years after it's happened.
