What Are You Feeding Your LO These Days?!

Trying to see what everyone is feeding their LO these days... baby-led weaning, purées, etc?
LO’s should be about 7 months now. And what do y’all do for constipation? My daughter is having a hard time pooping from purées 😞

My girl eats whatever we eat to a degree. Breakfast is usually eggs and fruit or toast with peanut butter. Lunch the past couple of days has been chicken tortilla soup (strained the broth out so it was just shredded chicken, tomatoes, beans, corn, onions, jalapeños, cheese, cilantro, avocado and the spices).  That’s just an example of what we usually eat. I’ve never given her purees and I’ve always let her feed herself. 
YES they gag but it’s normal and good to help them learn how big of pieces they can swallow. It safe guards them from choking. Gagging is scary to watch but if you never let them try it increases the likelihood of them actually choking in the future when you finally do let them eat more solid food and they don’t know how because they’ve only ever had purees. 
My child has no teeth and chews like a champ. Meat, veggies, whatever. Teeth are not required.
I give sips of water from a sippy cup with meals to help the food go down and to help with constipation. 
I wouldn’t give juice to help with constipation. Way too much sugar.

we do baby led weaning. 
my daughters almost 8 months (on the 5th), and eats breakfast, an afternoon snack and dinner. we are slowly getting to 3 meals a day. 
we eat a type of fruit for breakfast and some oats, and usually some toast with peanut butter. for dinner its whatever we are having, and then usually I put a small piece of fruit and some extra veggies. she loves strawberries,sweet potatoes, hamburgers, corn on the cob and chicken so far. 
she doesn't have any teeth yet, but chews really well and eats a decent amount. 
we have only had 1 issue with constipation, & it was after she tried blueberries... we gave her a bit of a prune on toast and it cleared her out.

My son is 7mo as well. We do veggie and fruits pureed. He doesn’t have any teeth yet so I’m too afraid to try anything not smooth.

My lil one loves table foods... I think she'd forget to nurse and eat only food if I let her. That being said, there are days when she eats too much food and takes in less milk than before - so she gets a little constipated then. If that happens I spend the next day nursing more and if I offer any foods I try for high liquid fruits/veg like watermelon or something. Seems to help

for constipation we do prune juice and water. Water by itself and prune juice mixed in the milk.

We do baby led weaning, haven’t been constipated yet I actually think he’s been pooping a lot more. We just tried peanut butter for lunch today and he loved it. Maybe look into giving your baby more fruit? I feel like that could help. Helped me while I was pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️😳

My little guy is 7 months and his feeding schedule is 
 Wake up- 8 oz bottle
9:30- prunes with oatmeal( my son can never poop and these always make his day better 
Lunch- 8oz bottle 
2:30/3- fruit and veggie purée with 2oz formula 
5:30- veggie purée with oatmeal sometimes without If he can't poop
Bedtime- 8 oz bottle

We are doing a mixture of BLW and purees. LO usually eats some form of whatever we are eating. Last night we had black bean and sweet potato tacos so he had some black beans and sweet potatoes. 
My LO hasn't been constipated but hasn't been pooping as much since we started solids. Dr said it was normal to poop every couple of days as long as it wasn't little balls indicating constipation.

my little girl is 7.5 months old now. I do a combination of BLW and purees. Some purees are homemade veg or fruit and sometimes pouches when out and about. She tends to have a snack in the afternoons and that's when I give finger foods e.g cucumber or cheese sticks, rice cakes, toast with cheese spread, breadsticks, blueberries, chopped tomatoes, raspberries or banana. I let her sip water from a sippy cup throughout the day and with meals and I also think prune puree helps her to poop.
