How much have you bought?!

I’m nearly 18 weeks and Iv nearly completed her wardrobe up to a year old 🙈 I have to get a car seat, crib mattress, muslins and a few basics and that’s it now! How much do you have left to get?!

Everything... :) haha. 20 weeks and we have purchased baby books, and some Christmas outfits. We are taking it month by month... baby clothes next month (not finding out the gender) and then hoping people buy stuff off our registry

I have a diaper bag I had bought my last pregnancy (ended in mmc) but with this one I haven’t bought anything. Guess I feel like I might jinx myself or something so I’m gonna wait til I’m 30 weeks.

I’ve bought a crib fit for a princess (it was too good a deal to pass up) and lots of dresses and hair bows. I also bought a double stroller for my toddler and new baby. Oh and one thing for her nursery wall, so I’ve got a long way to go yet. I’ll get busy in October. 😉

I’m 19w today and still have to get the cot mattress, car seat, high chair, some towels. I’m still looking for a going home outfit for baby but it’s winter here so have to Waite for the summer cloths to come in.
I also have to make the nappy stacker for the bedroom, a play mate and some covers for the bouncer.

From comments I’m curious, does everyone has a baby shower in the US? Do you receive a lot of gifts at it?

I will say I made a registry and if people don't buy off of it, it will become a shopping list for us 😂

Nothing 😂 I did get a baby box for free and I set up the pack and play with the bassinet attachment today so the dog can start getting used to baby stuff being around... in 2 weeks we will have her whole wardrobe for $20 from the downstairs neighbor lol we're saving for the carseat and buying diapers a bit at a time (cloth diapering again after a hiatus)... I will put the baby swing out in a month or so for the dogs benifit... I'm waiting until after the "diaper party" to buy a bunch... maybe even until after she's here (except the carseat will be bought before she gets here lol)... so we will definitely have the 4 baby essentials (carseat, place to sleep, diapers, and clothes) when she gets here otherwise I'm not too worried about it.

I bought a handful of outfits before Babies’R’Us closed, and a few decorations for the nursery, but I definitely agree with waiting to get what else we need until after the shower.  I don’t want to have too much stuff, so many people I know don’t use all the clothes and things they get in the first year bc the baby grows so fast. 
We are getting a lot of hand-me-downs too.  We’re a couple that strongly believes in not overbuying, repurposing and reusing. We hope to share those values with our baby right from the beginning.
But that’s our path...
