I went to my gynecologist a few months ago because lately I've been getting my period twice a month. Fast forward to today, my doctor says I'm pretty much sterile 😔

Now I'm heartbroken because my boyfriend lives in another state right now but we have plans to move in together and start a family one day (we're both still 20 so we want kids, just not right now). I know we can adopt, but it's still not the same because I won't get to experience a pregnancy.

That being said, how do I bring it up to my boyfriend? Should I wait until he comes to visit me and tell him in person or should I call him? Should I text him? I overthink a lot, so I'm scared he might not want to be with me anymore because I can't have kids.
