could this be considered discrimination?
back in 2016 I started a job and became pregnant 2 months in and lost the baby. while out on FMLA they hired another person who turns out was pregnant and high risk. they made all accommodations she needed and if she need to leave then she did. here I am 20 weeks pregnant with regular restrictions (no lifting greater than 20 lbs and no pushing or pulling) another woman in the department who is a few years older which puts her at 30 is now also pregnant and due to age is labled high risk. she was given restrictions of no lifting over 50 lbs and no pushing or pulling. we both provided notes from our Dr to our supervisor. h. r. called and said they couldn't comply to those accommodations, she asked why when they could accommodate to mine, according to them there is no record of another pregnant woman in the department even though we both provided proof of pregnancy and restrictions. they forced her to take FMLA and told her to look into other career possibilities but never said anything like this to me and I have stricter restrictions...what is going on?!!
