My boyfriend cheated

My boyfriend cheated on me and I’ve been really considering forgiving him. Hes never done it before and I love him so much and I really don’t know what to do I’m at a loss idk if I should him back or just move on. We had so much planned. We talked about marriage and kids and a future together I really want him back but I’m also really scared about it.
