Probably one of the worst colds I’ve had (nasal congestion wise) my nasal cavity is will be entirely shit closed and it’s making me dizzy lmao I’m a nanny and when they get sick I get sick shortly after! My main symptom is just a lot of mucous

Hot tea with lemon, if you take Mucinex drink plenty of water  throughout the day after you take it will clear the mucus dehydrate you as well. Also take a hot wash cloth  ( not semi hot) just warm enough and wet it keep it semi damp and place both ends in your nose and try to breathe into the cloth. If you can’t breathe into the cloth then just place it inside your nasal passages to let the heat penetrate and it will clear up your passage way. You basically want the heat of the cloth, and semi dampness of the wash cloth to open your nasal passage way so you can breathe. Also take a woman multi vitamin that will help in getting over your cold faster. The tea with lemon ( wedge or lemon juice) will clear out any congestion as well. 
This is my go to method when I get colds.
