Whooping cough booster shot?

Any of you mamas gotten the whooping cough vaccine? I had it at my 27 week appointment yesterday and no one warned me how badly it would hurt and how sore my arm would be afterwards. 😭 it’s been 24+ hours now and I can’t even use my left arm. Anybody get this vaccine and have any tips to make the soreness go away quicker?

Massage the area and use it. Your muscle is stiff but working it out helps. I was in the military and they give you every shot imaginable. That’s what i had to do.

I received mine right before I left the hospital after having my son. I could barely hold him because of how sore it made me lol.

Yes my arm was sore for about 3 days, doesn’t last forever but it is very uncomfortable.

My ob suggested it at my last appt. I may wait till September to get that and the flu shot. I'm going to stagger them by a week and get them in separate arms just because both leave me sore for a while.

Yes the TDap.  I got it at 27 weeks, my arm was sore and itchy for 3 days.  It’s normal and will subside!

I had mine Wednesday and am still experiencing some soreness. It's nothing awful. It's just lasted much longer than most shot soreness does.

Mine wasn’t bad at all. Hope you get better soon I’m like that after blood tests

My doctor didn’t mention it on my check up last week but i’ll bring it up next time
