Contracting after peeing???

I just have a question.....I will be 35 weeks tomorrow. And when I use the bathroom it feels like my uterus is contracting or cramping. Is this normal? And I’m also having some cramping in my back. Assistance plz

Could be normal - your uterus being irritated by your bladder emptying. Or could be a sign of a urine infection. I’d get checked out just to make sure.

The last time I had a uti, my dr had to check my cervix because a uti can bring on labor he said. I’m drinking water and cranberry juice to flush my system ( if it was a uti) before it settles in

you could have a uti , I didn't know I had one and was having contractions after urinating. the infection could trigger them
