Hospital bag?

Question

What did you use to pack all your stuff and baby's stuff for the hospital? Suitcase? Diaper bag? Did you use one bag for your things and a separate one for baby?

My husband and I are taking a mid size suitcase for us (our clothes, toiletries, snacks + the boppy, a pillow and blanket for him) and a diaper bag.
We could have had our individual bags, but it just made more sense to have one slightly larger bag and a backpack than five little bags (mine, his, baby’s, pillows & blankets & boppy).
I just made sure to put all my L&D; items in an easily accessible location so that he can just grab those items when needed.

Packed my small luggage that I use for carry on when flying for me and the baby.

Doug one bag for boyfriend and I together and then the babies actual diaper bag. Our bag is a Victoria secret duffle, so kinda carry on size.

I packed my toddler some stuff in a diaper bag along with my her new sisters stuff! I packed my stuff in a medium sized duffel bag and my husband will probably throw an outfit in my bag. He won’t need much since he’ll be visiting during the day and taking our toddler home for the night

I was thinking this too. Is it ridiculous to bring a small suitcase (like carryon size)?? I put mine in a large bag but it’s so hard to find stuff in it... a suitcase makes more sense.

We just packed a small suitcase for all three of us. Baby doesn’t really need much at the hospital

We have one bag for mine and my husbands clothes, baby diaper bag, and then we are taking another bag for snacks for husband and some drinks and Lamaze things.
