Hi guys. At 12 week ultrasound (in 3D) would you be able to see a little wee wee? Or is 12 weeks way too early and they all look the same? Thanks a lot.

Everyone told me I was crazy but I had an under the butt view at my 12 weeks scan and I saw it. Turns out I was right and I’m having a boy lol

Depends on the shot, how skilled the technician is, and the baby's anatomy. We got an "under the butt" shot at 13 weeks and it was very clearly a boy, confirmed at 20 weeks as well, but I've seen many other US where it was pretty difficult to tell at that time.

yes but they may not tell you. my twins were 12 weeks and i was told they were boys im now 16 weeks w my third baby and all they say is its too soon. so just depends on who does it. sometimes they really cant tell but what i mean is most wont even look for you at that point but it is possible i have twin 1 and a half year old boys

The problem with it being that early is that you can get a false positive for a boy. A girl’s genitalia is still swollen at that point so it looks like a boy, but is actually a girl. It may happen where you see a penis and it is a penis, but just be aware it could actually be something else.
